The Journal of Politics, which is published by the Southern Political Science Association, is a leading general interest journal in political science. The Journal of Politics publishes theoretically innovative and methodologically diverse research in all subfields of the discipline including, but not limited to, American politics, comparative politics, formal theory, international relations, methodology, political theory, public administration and public policy. The Southern Political Science Association offers summer stipend and editorial research assistance funding for the editors, payable through the sponsoring university. The Southern Political Science Association as a matter of policy does not pay any indirect or any associated overhead costs.
