The SPSA is pleased to announce that it will hold its 2023 Annual Conference at the Tradewinds Island Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida! The Conference will take place January 11-14, 2023.

SPSA/KiND Professional Development Workshops
This year the SPSA is once again partnering with the KiND Institute to offer professional development workshops to SPSA conference attendees. Workshop topics include Machine Learning, Qualitative Research Methods, Experimental Research Designs, and other subjects. Register for the Annual Conference
You can begin the meeting registration process (as well as join the SPSA) HERE. If you wish to join and register at the same time, please email info@spsa.net and we will create an invoice for your membership and registration. Just let us know the level of membership you want (1 year or 2 year and online or print).

Inability to Attend Insurance
The Southern Political Science Association will provide No Refunds if you are unable to attend. Instead, we now provide a refund insurance policy. Please see below:
Inability to Attend Insurance
Attendee Registration Insurance is now included in your registration fees. This coverage is underwritten by Lloyds of London.
You will receive a 100% refund if you are unable to attend the event for a reason outside of your control that is covered under the policy. This coverage starts on the date you pay for registration and ends on the first date of the conference.

Our rate for the TradeWinds and Rumfish Beach Resorts is $191 plus Resort Fees and taxes per night. This rate is good until December 10th. Please reserve early to ensure room availability.
12/16/2022: Update – We have been notified that our room blocks at The Tradewinds and Rumfish Beach Resort are full. We suggest that you google “hotels near The Tradewinds, St Pete Beach, FL”. You may also want to check at Hotels.com or one of the other hotel booking sites.
