Mirya R. Holman is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Tulane University. She is the author of Women in Politics in the American City (Temple University Press, 2015) and more than forty peer-reviewed journal articles. Her work focuses on questions of representation, political institutions, and political behavior, particularly in local and state politics.
