Despite earthquakes and wind, the SPSA 2020 meeting hosted over 400 panels and 1,000 research papers from political scientists and scholars in related fields from around the world. The Caribe Hilton proved to be a prepared and excellent host, keeping the meeting going despite the formidable challenges faced by the island and the city of San Juan. We appreciate the hard work of the hotel staff and management, and wish the island and people of Puerto Rico well as they work to repair the damage caused by the earthquakes and continue to attract tourists and conferences to their beautiful part of the Caribbean!
