The SPSA hopes that everyone is healthy and safe during this unusual time. Though we continue to function as an Association, we are very aware that professional political scientists are focusing on what they need to do in the interests of their health, the well being of their families, and the responsibilities we have to our students and colleagues. We ask that Association members take care of themselves and one another, and work together to get through the challenges we all face.
Planning has begun for SPSA 2021 in New Orleans! Do you have an idea for a Conference Within a Conference? Do you think you might want to organize a Roundtable discussion around a current issue? Is there a new book that could benefit from an Author Meets Critics panel? Don’t know how to get started? Please send any ideas or questions you have to spsa.conference@spsa.net, and we will be more than happy to help!
The Southern Political Science Association is interested in learning how it’s doing, and how it can do better! If you receive a request to participate in the survey, please take a few minutes to answer a short set of questions about our meeting, future meeting locations, and other issues that will help us serve our profession more effectively.
