Micheal Fix is Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Political Science at Georgia State University where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on judicial politics, research methods, state politics, and constitutional law.
He received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina and M.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of Kentucky. His research primarily examines the role of state high courts in the broader political and legal environment. His most recent book is US Supreme Court Doctrine in the State High Courts (with Benjamin Kassow).
