The SPSA is pleased to announce that it will hold its 2025 Annual Conference at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico! 

The Conference will take place January 8-11, 2025.

Hilton Caribe and Overflow Room Blocks Open!

The Hilton Caribe is the 2025 SPSA Annual Conference hotel. Please click here to reserve your room. Due to tremendous interest in the conference, only limited availability remains.

Due to limited space at the Hilton Caribe, we secured blocks in two overflow hotels. The Condado Plaza Hotel ($299 per night) and the Hilton Garden Inn ($304 per night) are both available. Both hotels are only a short walk from the conference. Reservations can be made using one of three options:

1. Personalized Webpage Address: Reservations can be booked at the Condado Plaza Hotel by clicking here, and reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn can be booked by clicking here.
2. Group Code: Using condadoplaza.hilton.com or HGI.com, select the desired arrival and departure dates, select the “Special Rates” button, and add the group code SPSB25. Then continue with the reservation process.
3. By Phone: Attendees can make reservations directly with the reservation offices of the Condado Plaza Hotel (787-721-1000) or the Hilton Garden Inn (787-723-2000). It is important that each person identify themselves as part of the Southern Political Science Association and use the group code SPSB25 to receive the group rate.

Prices shown on the websites include $30.00 resort charge per night, but excludes taxes and gratuities.

Inability to Attend Insurance

The Southern Political Science Association will provide No Refunds if you are unable to attend. Instead, we now provide a refund insurance policy (please see below).

Attendee Registration Insurance is now included in your registration fees. This coverage is underwritten by Lloyds of London.

You will receive a 100% refund if you are unable to attend the event for a reason outside of your control that is covered under the policy. This coverage starts on the date you pay for registration and ends on the first date of the conference.
