2022 SPSA Call for Proposals

The Southern Political Science Association is requesting academic paper and panel proposals for its 93rd Annual Meeting taking place in San Antonio, January 12-15, 2022.

Message from the Program Chair, Elizabeth Oldmixon:

The SPSA is excited to invite political scientists from across the U.S. and around the world to participate in its 2022 Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, January 12-15.  As usual, the annual meeting will provide a forum for sharing ideas, research results, and professional insights in a collegial setting; and even though the 2021 online meeting was a great success, we definitely look forward to a return to the in-person conference format this coming year!

The 2022 Program Committee is made up of terrific, energetic scholars who will be working on ways to make this conference a meaningful experience for political scientists from across all fields of study. Please consider presenting your work by submitting a proposal for a paper (or whole panel).  SPSA will continue to offer an opportunity for scholars to explore topical areas and more narrowly defined lines of inquiry for proposed “conferences within a conference.”

You can submit your proposals using the 2021 SPSA All Academic web site:

http://convention2.allacademic.com/one/spsa/spsa22/

Proposals are due September 1, 2021.  Please contact the SPSA at info@spsa.net if you have any questions.
